Music publishers' support schemes

Music publishers are opening grant applications and launching a new support scheme. "Creative Initiatives" differs from the grant scheme in that people other than music publishers can apply for the funds.

The Music Publishers, one of TONO's three group associations, has opened applications for two of its scholarships. At the same time, they are launching the new support scheme Creative initiatives.

Creative initiatives

The funds in "Creative Initiatives" will go to creative projects that benefit Norwegian music publishers and/or Norwegian authors, and that stimulate activity and production of new music. Unlike the Music Publishers' Scholarship Scheme, it is possible to apply for funds from Creative initiatives for others than music publishers.

The Music Publishers Board processes the applications at each board meeting, and the deadline for applications is one week before each board meeting.

The Music Publishers' Scholarship Scheme

The music publishers' grant funds are intended to stimulate the Norwegian music publishing community that works for Norwegian authors. The grant funds are to be used for the benefit of Norwegian music publishers so that they consolidate and strengthen their position in cultural Norway.

The scholarship funds are divided into four groups: Small project, Ad hoc funds, Project grant og Seed grant.

It is Project grant og Seed grant It is now possible to apply. The deadline is December 1st at 12:00.
