With hundreds of millions of streams under her belt, Julie Bergan is one of Norway's biggest pop artists today. From China via Stockholm and Valdres, with a cold on the way, she visited Torgny Amdam in TONO's podcast, Lage Musikk.
The episode is now available on Spotify, iTunes and wherever you listen to podcasts.
In the conversation, Bergan talks about both her ambitious career and her private life – and how the two influence each other. She is known for her hard-hitting and energetic hits, but says that the aggressiveness is not present in her everyday life.
– Writing aggressive songs can help me release the anger I may be carrying around after certain situations
– I'm very sensitive so I can get upset easily, but I don't act out with anger. Then I've known that I need to get angry. Writing aggressive songs can help me get an outlet for the anger I can carry after certain situations, she says.
The TONO podcast Lage Musikk is produced by Moderne Media.
