An eventful music year is coming to an end, and here from TONO's offices we can look back on a good year. Your music creates great value for users, and overall it has given record-high payouts back. Some of you notice this, many do not. We know that it is difficult to make a living from music. But I can assure you that our approximately 70 employees are licensing more and more music, and distributing more and more, as accurately and fairly as possible.

During the year, TONO's annual meeting adopted new principles for how we will pay out money. We have decided on a new pricing model for concert organizers and have created rules for registering works created with the support of artificial intelligence. We have worked actively to strengthen the rights of our members through input to the authorities and in international cooperation. Next year, you will see, among other things, the effects of investments we are making in technology and in Kongens gate 12, the members' own house.
