Bridge consists of Anja Lauvdal on synths, Lars Ove Fossheim on guitar, Hans Hulbækmo on drums, Heida Karine Johannesdottir Mobeck on tuba and Marianna SA Røe on vocals. The band debuted with a single in 2014, and has since released two full-length albums: Yoga (2015) and I <3 Art (2017).

Sigrid Solbakk Raabes pop career started slowly with the selection of "Sun" for Ukas Urørt in 2013. In 2016 she "signed" with Island Records, and in 2017 she released a bunch of singles that reached many listeners both in Norway and abroad. One of these was "Don't kill my vibe", for which she is now nominated for the EDVARD award. Her co-nominee is songwriter and producer Martin SjolieSjølie is, as many will know, a recognized and established songwriter who has also worked with Eva & The Heartmaker, Sam Smith and many more.

Cezinando debuted in 2012, at the age of 16, with both an EP and an album. In 2016, he won the Urørt final, and in connection with that gave an interview with TONO as you can read here.
He won the Spellemann Prize in 2016 and 2017, and is now nominated for the EDVARD Prize for the album "Noen ganger og andre". Ole Torjus Hofvind won the Spellemannprisen for producer of the year in 2017, and produced "Noen ganger og andre". In this connection, he also helped write the songs, and is nominated together with Cezinando.

Kristine Tjogersen is a freelance clarinetist and composer, and has had her compositions performed on, among others, Only Connect and Ultima, in addition to a wide range of stages abroad. She also creates music for theater, film and installations. She was nominated for the EDVARD Prize in Samtid for the work Mistérios do Corpo which was written for the Arditti Quartet and nyMusikk's Only Connect festival in 2017.

Haakon Berge has been a very active composer for many years, including composing music for more than 70 productions. The EDVARD-nominated work is a requiem, and an anthem, for the 13-year-old Palestinian girl Iman Darweesh al Hams, who was shot and killed by an Israeli officer in 2004. The work was performed at Ultima in 2017.

Jonas Skaarud works as a freelance composer, mainly with acoustic music, often chamber music. He likes to compose calm and vulnerable music. The EDVARD-nominated work is written for accordion and sinfonietta, and is written specifically for accordionist Andreas Angell. The work was premiered at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and has also been performed by Bit20.

Ola Kvernberg started playing folk music at a young age, but is also classically trained. He has contributed to many releases with other musicians, and has also released a large number of his own albums. He has won the Spellemann Prize and the Bendiksen Prize, among others, and can now win the EDVARD Prize for Steamdome, a colorful album released last year.

Marius Neset is a saxophonist and composer, and debuted his first solo album in 2009. He has received good reviews both here at home and internationally. Neset has won Spellemann prizes and a number of other awards, and was nominated for the EDVARD prize for the 2017 album Circle of Chimes.

Sigrid Moldestad is a folk musician and composer. As a musician, she has participated in recordings dating back to the 90s, and began releasing albums under her own name only in 2007. "Music for both mind and heart," wrote Aftenposten in its review of the 2017 album "Vere her," and believed that she must soon become a household name. The EDVARD jury shares the enthusiasm, and has nominated her and the album for the EDVARD Prize 2018.

Espen Reinertsen is a saxophonist, flautist, composer and music producer. He made his album debut in 2015 with "Forgaflingspop" and followed up with Nattsyntese in 2017. He has now been nominated for the EDVARD Prize 2018 in the Challenger category.

Ivan Ave is the stage name of Eivind Øygarden. Øygarden is a rapper and songwriter, and made his album debut with Fredfades in 2014. He is "signed" to the Berlin-based record label Jakarta Records, and has released several solo albums, most recently "Every Eye" from 2017, for which he is now an EDVARD nominee.

The band Fieh have managed to create a huge sensation after only releasing two singles. They have made a name for themselves with festival appearances, and according to the band themselves, their debut album is on the way. (Read TONO's interview with the band here)The band has been nominated for the EDVARD Award for the single "Glu" from 2017.

Arif, formerly known as Phil T. Rich, is a rapper and songwriter who first made his mark by winning the Urørt final in 2013. He debuted his album the same year, and won the Spellemannprisen in 2015. The album "Meg & Deg Mot Alle" came out in November 2017, and has impressed the EDVARD jury.

Marthe Wang is an artist and composer, and made her album debut with "Ut og se noe annet" (Out and See Something Else) in 2017 at Kirkelig Kulturverksted. For this album, she was nominated for the Spellemannprisen 2017 in the "Viser" category. The song "Til deg" (To You) has been widely played on the radio, and was used in a commercial for Kirkens Bymisjon during the TV campaign in 2018.

Levi Henriksen will be known to many as an author, but he is definitely also a lyricist of rank. As early as 1988, he won Ungdommens Radioavis's "rockemønstring" as a member of the band Heart of Mary. He has released a number of albums with Thomas Mårud. In 2017, the second album with the band Levi Henriksen & Babylon Badlands, "Verden av i går", was released, and for this he has now been nominated for the EDVARD prize for the lyrics on the album.
