When members report concerts abroad to TONO, we notify our sister society in the country in question.
Basically, you report the concert as normal in the member service. My TONOHowever, some of our sister societies have special requirements for the reports.
Here you can read how to ensure you meet the requirements of PRS (UK/Great Britain) and GEMA (Germany)
All concerts in the UK must be registered in the PRS online system no later than one year after the performance. The deadline is final.
This registration is carried out by TONO when we receive your music report in the member service. My TONOThis must happen as quickly as possible, and no later than three months after the performance.
In connection with concert reporting in the UK – Please also note:
All concerts in Germany must be registered in GEMA's online system no later than March 31 of the following year. The deadline is final.
This registration is carried out by TONO when we receive your music report in the member service. My TONOThis must happen as quickly as possible, and no later than three months after the performance.
The deadline, March 31 of the following year, requires that concerts in December must be reported immediately after they have been performed. If new works are performed at the concert, these must be registered before the concert report can be submitted.
In connection with concert reporting in Germany – Please also note:
As mentioned at the top of the case, you basically register concert performances abroad in the same way as in Norway.
It is important that all works included in the concert report are registered before the concert report is submitted. When performing works that are not yours, please fill in the title and author(s).
Please note in particular that if you hold multiple concerts in the same concert venue, separate concert reports MUST be submitted for each individual event.
