Kopinor remuneration to your music publisher?

Norwegian music publishers can now apply for Kopinor remuneration from the Music Publishers Association.

The Music Publishers Association is one of three group associations in TONO, but it is also a member organization in Kopinor, which collects fees for copying.

These royalties are managed and distributed by the Music Publishers, and now your music publisher can apply for royalties.

To be able to do this, your publisher must send authorizations and reports to Musikkforlaggerne, so that the association can do the work required for your publisher to be able to receive Kopinorvederlag. This is partly because remuneration for copying does not require reporting by users on what has been copied. In order to be able to distribute remuneration, documentation is therefore required.
