Kaizers Orchestra is in the midst of what is perhaps the biggest artist comeback in Norwegian history. The 56 concerts they are currently playing sold out in minutes, and 10 years after they put the gas masks on the shelf, they are more popular than ever before.

Janove Ottesen is a guest on Musikkskaperne and talks about how Kaizers has become what it is today, musically and conceptually – Norway's hottest music product, quite simply.

Coffee and Hot Sauce

As part of Kaizers Orchestra's ongoing Norwegian tour, they have also launched their very own merch store, called Resistansen. The store travels with the band and stays open in the city the band is playing in for the four weeks they are there.

– It's always a bit inconvenient when you go out on the town after a concert and have to walk around carrying the merch you've bought. That's why we've created a nice pop-up shop. There you can of course buy t-shirts, hoodies and vinyl, but also porcelain cups, sweaters, coffee and hot sauce. The products will mostly have something to do with what we sing about. We sing about coffee in Philemon Arthur & the Dung, and that's why we're giving out coffee, says Ottesen.
