TONO's annual meeting was held at Sentralen in Oslo on Wednesday, June 24. In line with TONO's statutes, four representatives and four deputy representatives were elected for two years to TONO's board. A new chairman and deputy chairman were also elected, as well as four representatives and four deputy representatives to TONO's scholarship committee.

TONO's new board

TONO's statutes state that members and alternate members of TONO's board serve for two years. To ensure continuity in the board's work, the election periods overlap so that four board members are elected each year. TONO's annual meeting gave its consent to the recommendation made by TONO's election committee. Thus, TONO's new board looks as follows (the representatives in bold were up for election):

There were also elections for a new chairman and deputy chairman. Jørgen Karlstrøm from the Norwegian Composers' Association and Kai Robøle from Music Publishers were elected, respectively. Ingrid Kindem was also thanked as chairman as she is now leaving both the TONO and NOPA boards. She has served on the TONO board since 2014.

New scholarship committee

In line with TONO's statutes, TONO's scholarship committee was also elected by the annual meeting. Here too, the nomination committee's recommendation was accepted. The committee now consists of the following, where the representatives in bold were up for election:

Furthermore, TONO's annual accounts for 2019 were approved by the annual meeting and remuneration was determined for the board and other elected officials in TONO, as well as the auditor's fees.
