/ 09/02/2020 / Willy MartinsenSpellemann has been promoting and celebrating Norwegian music since 1973. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, March 28. At the press conference on February 7, this year's nominees were announced. The categories TONO's Composer Award, Lyricist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year and Producer of the Year are perhaps the categories that most strongly highlight TONO members, although they also leave their clear mark on the other categories. Congratulations to them all!
TONO is the main partner of the Spellemannprisen and is the guarantor for the composer and lyricist categories. It is TONO that appoints the juries in these two categories. TONO was also one of the driving forces behind the creation of the Songwriter of the Year category in 2018 to further highlight a diversity of music creators.
