Are you unable to attend TONO's annual meeting physically or digitally? You can easily give your proxy and let someone else vote on your behalf. Here you can read how to do it.
/ 02/06/2026 / Kristian DugstadTONO's annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at 5:00 PM at Sentralen in Oslo. There is also the opportunity to participate in the annual meeting digitally, if you are unable to attend in person. Over 6000 members with voting rights can participate and help influence TONO's future development.
If you are unable to participate either physically or digitally, you can still make your voice heard by giving it as a proxy to another person who will participate.
The person who will hold the power of attorney can be another TONO member or someone who is not, for example a friend or family member. This means that you can agree with the person you want to represent you to attend TONO's annual meeting on your behalf.
Granting of a proxy takes place in the annual meeting portal. tono.meetando.no.
Before a proxy can be granted, the person who will hold the proxy must register in the annual meeting portal.
Voting members log in with their phone number and register that they will attend the annual meeting physically or digitally.
People who are not eligible to vote should start by trying to log in with their phone number and select "Guest" when that option appears. Complete the registration by providing the required details.
A person without voting rights in TONO will only be granted access to the meeting after they have been granted a proxy.
The voting member who will be granting their proxy can then log in to the portal and grant the proxy.
If you have an agreement with a member or guest to act as your proxy, you can search for their name. You can also review the list of people who are willing to act as your proxy, and either contact them or grant the proxy without an agreement.
All voting members may grant and withdraw a proxy at any time, even after the meeting has started. TONO voting members who receive a proxy may only vote once, but the vote counts as two votes. Proxies should therefore be given to persons who represent your views on matters under consideration.
If member A has received a power of attorney from member B, member A will be able to grant power of attorney to another person. The power of attorney from member B will be automatically withdrawn.
If a member with a proxy must cancel the meeting, the proxy will be withdrawn and both parties will receive a notification by email.
A participant in the meeting can only hold one proxy. Maximum 2 votes for members, maximum 1 vote for non-members. You cannot therefore grant a proxy to someone who already holds a proxy.
Anyone who gives or receives powers of attorney will be able to see who they have received power of attorney from and who they have given power of attorney to. If you do not see this confirmation, the power of attorney has not been given or received. Both parties also receive a confirmation by email.
