TONO and Den kulturellter skolesekken have agreed. Last year's agreement for music in DKS productions will be extended until the first half of 2021.
/ 29/01/2021 / Kristian DugstadThe Cultural School Bag (DKS) and TONO have entered into an agreement for the performance of music in productions for the first half of 2021. This is an extension, an extension, of the agreement that was entered into for 2020.

– TONO is pleased that despite the corona pandemic and the uncertainties it brings, we agreed on an agreement in 2020. We have now decided to extend this agreement through the first half of 2021, says Geir Gaarder, Director of Negotiations at TONO.
The agreement has been concluded between TONO and a negotiating committee representing the county municipalities and the so-called direct municipalities. These are the ones responsible for the DKS offer in their region.
– The agreement is structured along the same lines as many of our large framework agreements on the concert side. It gives the county and direct municipalities a performance permit in their DKS productions, and regulates the remuneration that must be paid to TONO for this, says Gaarder.
Through the agreement, the county municipalities and direct municipalities are directly responsible for reporting repertoire to TONO so that the money can be settled correctly.
This is the second agreement in a short time that TONO has entered into with the public sector regarding services for children and young people in 2021. Read about TONO's agreement with the Cultural Schools for the next three years here.
