TONO and our sister societies have their own lobby organization that fights for the rights of authors and their situation against politicians in the EU. On Wednesday, November 18, you can follow the annual meeting live online!
/ 17/11/2020 / Kristian DugstadFor the first time, you have the opportunity to gain insight into the work of one of the most important political organizations in copyright. This coming Wednesday, November 18, GESAC will hold its annual meeting online.
GESAC is the Brussels-based lobbying organisation of TONO companies. They represent 33 European copyright and management organisations, and speak out for creators in the EU. Their work played an important role, among other things, in the work on the new Copyright Directive in 2019.
The GESACS annual meeting is broadcast live through the online meeting service Zoom and is open to TONO members.
