One step closer to the paperless society

Since 2006, TONO/NCB has offered its members electronic settlement vouchers on TONO's web services. During a transitional phase, TONO has sent out paper settlement vouchers to all members. From 2008, settlement vouchers online will apply.

It is time-consuming and expensive to print, package and send invoices to thousands of members several times a year. We expect to be able to save several hundred thousand kroner a year by switching to electronic invoice invoices. This helps to keep costs down, which will directly benefit members. Using the internet as the rights holders' gateway to TONO is already a great success. You can apply for membership, report works, report concerts, download invoice invoices, etc. For example, it is now only a matter of time before the majority of all musical works are reported to TONO electronically.

We are constantly working to improve our web services. A new and improved application for reviewing works is in the pipeline and during 2008 we expect to launch a completely new service where you can search for settlement data for a specific work across settlement periods. It should also be said that we recognize the fact that there are still members out there without easy access to a PC and the Internet. For you, please contact Member Services, if you have not already done so, and let us know that you would like settlement documents sent in paper form. It is free of charge if you let us know in advance.
