We would like to point out that some of the information in this text is outdated, specifically this concerns the adjustment in percentage from April 1, 2026 and the section "new model from 2027". Read the reason here.

TONO is changing the concert tariff to ensure that songwriters, composers and lyricists receive payment that is commensurate with the value their works and songs add to concert organizers. The changes are being introduced in stages over three years to give organizers predictability and time to adapt.

New model from 2027

The new model means that payments to creators will better reflect the overall concert economy.

Background to the change

The purpose of the adjustment is to give songwriters, composers and lyricists a share of the concert economy that is proportional to the economic value the music represents for the organizers – and to all concert-relevant sources of income in the concert market.

TONO notified the change on May 28, 2024, and this winter information was sent out digitally and by mail to customers with a concert license.
