Hollywood is something as rare as a Norwegian supergroup. Billie Van, Jonas Alaska and Mikhael Paskalev have always been involved in each other's careers, but never wanted to write music together before. - I always thought it would be too difficult, says Jonas Alaska.

All are guests on the TONO podcast Lage Musikk and you can hear it in the episode that is out today.
Although the artists are known for collaborating, it was never a given that they would start a band together.
– It wasn't something that was in our cards anyway… maybe in someone else's! We started thinking about doing something together when we needed to try something new where we were one and together, and not just helping each other. A place where we could try out things that don't work within the framework of our solo careers, says Billie Van

Jonas Alaska has five albums to his credit, and Mikhael Paskalev and Billie Van have both released two. Alaska believes Hollywood is partly a result of the loneliness of his solo career!
– I think we were all at a place where we were uninspired and a little lonely. Even if you have a band with you, you are a little alone as a solo artist. I personally thought it would be quite difficult to write with Billie and Mikhael, so I refrained from it. But it just suited us at that time. We wanted to experiment.
