Last year he was named Pop Artist of the Year by one of the major Korean streaming services. In April he also received the Spellemann Award for International Success of the Year.
Peder Elias Eriksrud Kjørholt, which is his full name, has enjoyed enormous success in Asia. South Korean fans have embraced him for years, and interest is growing rapidly in other parts of East Asia as well, such as China and Taiwan.
How have he and the record company worked to achieve this? Why hasn't Norway really opened its eyes to him yet? And why doesn't he just as willingly move to Korea?
