The main jury for the EDVARD Prize decided earlier this year that the prize in the popular music category 2006 should go to Kjartan Kristiansen, and it was planned to present the prize during the Øya Festival. For various reasons, it was not possible to hold the ceremony. The prize will be presented later this year.

The EDVARD Prize consists of Bruno Oldani's unique trophy, diploma and NOK 50.000.
This year, TONO is awarding the prize in three classes – contemporary music, popular music and open class. Stay tuned!
