Nils Petter Molvær received the award in the open class at the Molde Jazz Festival. Kari Bremnes received the award for text to music at the Opera on July 29. Bent Sæther and Hans Magnus Ryan (Motorpsycho) received the award for popular music at the Øya Festival in August. Klaus Sandvik received the award for contemporary music at the Greenland Chamber Music Festival on December 5.
The jury consisted of Rolf Wallin, Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje, Tore Hansen, Dag Krogsvold, Ingrid Kindem and Synne Skouen (jury chair).
