Frida Ånnevik, Ole Paus and Karpe Diem are the nominees for the 2017 EDVARD Prize in the Text category.

The EDVARD jury has also decided this year to nominate three authors in each of the five EDVARD categories: Contemporary, Text, Open Class, Popular and Challenger. The winners in the various categories will be announced in the fall of 2017.

Here are the nominees in the Text category:

Frida Ånnevik for "Here lives".

– An honor to be nominated for TONO's own EDVARD award. The process of writing the lyrics for "Her bor" was liberating, and it feels like I've come a long way. It's really nice to be recognized for it. 

Ole Paus for "Uninvited Guests".
