EDVARD: Here are the nominees in the Popular Music category

Ina Wroldsen, Ingrid Helene Håvik and Marit Larsen are the nominees for the 2017 EDVARD Award in the Popular Music category.

The EDVARD jury has also decided this year to nominate three authors in each of the five EDVARD categories Contemporary, Text, Open Class, Popular and Challenger. The winners in the different categories will be announced in the fall of 2017. Here are the nominees in the Popular category:

Ina Wroldsen for "St. Peter".

-The EDVARD Prize has previously been awarded to authors for whom I have great respect and I am proud and happy to be nominated. Thank you.

Ingrid Helene Håvik for the Highasakite album "Camp Echo".

-It is a big surprise, and not least a great, great honor, to be nominated for the award. It is especially fun to be nominated with two other incredibly talented women.

Marit Larsen for "Joni was right".

-This is a true honor. "Joni was right" was a real love child, so this kind of attention probably means a little extra. Big respect to the other nominees too. Stas.
