Susanna, Kristoffer Lo and Marius Neset are the nominees for the 2017 EDVARD Prize in the Open Class category.
/ 17/08/2017 / Janne SieversThe EDVARD jury has also decided this year to nominate three authors in each of the five EDVARD categories: Contemporary, Text, Open Class, Popular and Challenger. The winners in the various categories will be announced in the fall of 2017. Here are the nominees in the Open Class category:
Susanna for "Triangle".

– Oh, so great to be nominated for the EDVARD Prize in the Open Class for my album 'Triangle'! It's a great recognition for my work as a composer and lyricist, and motivates me to make more new music.
Kristoffer Lo for "The Black Meat".

-This is really fun! The EDVARD Prize is an award from musicians to musicians, so it means a lot to be nominated for such a prestigious award, and in a category together with two other musicians who stand for uniqueness, hard work and joy of playing. Thank you very much.
Marius Neset for "Snowmelt".

-Being nominated for the EDVARD Prize is a great honor for me, it is an award that I hold very highly. I am very grateful to everyone who has been involved in the project, it was a large and extensive project, and there is a lot of hard work behind this album. It therefore means a lot to me to receive such recognition for the music, it makes me incredibly happy and proud.
