This year was the tenth year of the Music Publishers Award. The award ceremony is organized by Music Publishers, and honors Norwegian music publishers and their authors who are members of TONO, for their work and results in the past year.

Awards were presented in six categories in addition to an honorary award. During the Music Publishers Award, the audience in the hall could experience, among other things, the premiere performance of the music from the TV series «Power», performed by Makta Composers' Association og Rust Men's Choir, and construction of «Lay Low» by Pot on the organ of Bjorn Helge Gammelsæter og Poprommets Vocal Company.
