Thank you for being active in the voluntary music scene! Choirs, bands, orchestras and all organizations, teams and associations that perform music and arrange concerts create a vibrant musical Norway.

Behind all the music you perform are composers and lyricists. There is nothing they would rather have than for their music to be used – but remember that you need a TONO license in order for them to get paid.

In the digital course below, we tell you what you need to know about TONO to be able to arrange concerts. You can find the course at the bottom of this issue.

We talk about how TONO works and why we exist, as well as how you can easily obtain your TONO license and report your concert activity in our digital customer portal in My TONO.

Concert organizer = TONO customer

Anyone performing the protected music that TONO manages must have the TONO license in place in advance. In this sense, a customer relationship with TONO is the first step on the road to the concert experience.

Fortunately, obtaining a TONO license and reporting is both easy and quick.

Concert ready in 1-2-3

In TONO's digital customer portal you can obtain a concert license in a matter of seconds. A few keystrokes are enough and you are concert-ready.

After the event, simply report the number of people in the audience, the ticket revenue, and the music performed. We can then send you an invoice and pay the music creators.

All concert organizers who have an organization number can quickly and easily create a user in the portal by going to mitt.tono.no/login.
