Today's "Petition for Copyright" at Løvebakken was a success. A large number of people from various copyright groups gathered to deliver a petition to our politicians.
/ 28/08/2009 / codexThe petition is gathering very broad support. There are now over 35 organizations that have joined and at the time of writing over 1600 signatures. With this petition, a massive signal is sent to our politicians now before the election to protect the artists' right to their own intellectual property. From Friday afternoon the website will be open, with the petition text and signatures. We encourage everyone to report everything that is happening via email, Facebook, underskog, Twitter, etc.
On Thursday, September 3rd, there will be a political hearing at John Dee at Rockefeller at 11:00 AM. Come along!
