CISAC has today published its annual report for 2021. The report provides insight into the worldwide work to strengthen the position of artists in a year strongly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

CISAC, the global umbrella organization for authors' collective rights societies, has now published the annual report for 2020This presents the work CISAC has done to help reduce the negative effects of the pandemic for artists, the work the organization is doing to support its member organizations worldwide, and how CISAC's member organizations work for artists' interests vis-à-vis governments around the world.

The report describes the work of assisting member organizations in licensing new, especially digital, revenue streams, their work on strengthening data and information systems such as ISWC (International Standard Work Code) and music reporting forms for production companies and broadcasters ("music cue sheets"), knowledge building around the consequences of "buy outs" and their work to create fair remuneration for audiovisual creators, and more.
