Are you ready to take your songwriting international? TONO is looking for seven members for a songwriting camp at TONO Studio in September. The camp is a collaboration with Swedish STIM, German GEMA and Finnish Teosto.
/ 21/05/2026 / Kristian DugstadTuesday 8th to Thursday 10th September 2026, TONO is hosting our first songwriting camp at TONO Studio in the TONO building in Oslo. The camp is being hosted in collaboration with, and with songwriters who are members of, the Swedish Stim, German EGG YOLK and Finnish A masterpiece.
We are now looking for 7 TONO members to join this camp. The other three organizations are bringing three songwriters each. This will give the participating TONO members the opportunity to write music together with the songwriters from the other organizations.

You must be a TONO member and over 18 years of age to apply to participate.
The theme of the camp is international relations, collaboration and co-writing.
TONO members who are accepted into the camp should be at an early stage in their international career, but should have established themselves as songwriters and/or producers, and be ready to take the next step and expand their international network. Participants are selected based on a comprehensive assessment of data related to activity and disbursement through TONO.
The camp will take place in Oslo from Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th September, and will end with a listening session followed by concerts at by:Larm, which means you will receive a concert pass there. It is free to attend the camp.
TONO provides a travel grant of up to NOK 2000 per participant against documented expenses.

STIM, GEMA and Teosto are three of TONO's sister societies, meaning they are copyright organizations that have the same role and function as TONO in other countries and territories. STIM does the same job as TONO in Sweden, GEMA in Germany and Teosto in Finland.
They are among the approximately 100 sister societies that TONO has reciprocal agreements with. This means that TONO represents their members when their music is used in Norway. Similarly, as a TONO member, you are looked after by GEMA when your music is used in Germany, by STIM in Sweden and Teosto in Finland.
Through the songwriting camp, TONO contributes to the innovation of music according to TONO's statutes, while strengthening our international cooperation. It also allows us to become an even greater resource for TONO members.
