With precision and originality, he often points towards something universally valid that can touch listeners of all ages. On Nattseileren we enter a dark Bergen universe after midnight. We are guided into something lost and strong-willed. Eidevik describes the depths, but often with a loving sidelong glance, and thus we never completely lose hope. He is unique in his descriptions of situations and feelings. A line like "I am the echo of your ascent" is one such, and it clearly shows how heartbreaking the lyrics can be.
