The movement, the station, the work or the world “In the Cage” is a nuanced, slowly building tone poem, which explores the orchestra’s sonic potential in time and space. Ulvo has literally torn apart the orchestral ensemble and has created a 32-channel sound installation with “13 Ways to Tame a Beast”. In “In the Cage” she carefully rebuilds the orchestra in a concentrated and condensed form. Using sonic building blocks she creates a tension and a pause in time and space.
