Annual meeting of the cooperative TONO SA 2021

This afternoon, TONO's 2021 annual meeting will be held. The meeting will be broadcast digitally from TONO's premises at Grønland in Oslo.

TONO's annual meeting will be held digitally this year for the first time. The meeting will be broadcast from TONO's premises at Tøyenbekken 21 in Oslo, with Chairman Jørgen Karlstrøm, CEO Cato Strøm and Deputy CEO Svein Korshamn present. Some employees in TONO's administration and hired technical personnel will assist with the implementation of the meeting.

To be able to attend TONO's annual meeting, you must be a member of the cooperative TONO SA. Read more about this in TONO's statutes. here..

Shareholders have been sent the notice of the meeting on May 25th, and have been able to register for the annual meeting since June 1st.

Election of board members

TONO's board consists of eleven board members, with two seats reserved for members from the Norwegian Composers' Association (NKF), NOPA, Musikkforleggerne (MF) and independent members. The remaining three seats are reserved for employee representatives, in accordance with the Cooperatives Act.

This year, there are elections for four representatives and four alternate representatives for two years to TONO's board.

The results of the elections during the 2021 annual meeting will be published on TONO's website no later than the day after the annual meeting.

The election committee was elected by TONO's annual meeting 2019, and consisted of the following representatives: Lars Martin Myhre, chairman (NOPA), Klaus Sandvik (Norwegian Composers' Association), Kristin Andersen (Music Publishers) and Dag Erik Knedal Andersen (Independent).
