Do you organize concerts in the church?

The rights organization TONO and KA Employers' Organization for Church Businesses have negotiated an agreement that allows congregations in the Church of Norway to perform all kinds of music from around the world at church concerts - and at the same time save time and money.

In addition to music being an important part of church services and ceremonies, many congregations also organize church concerts. This makes the congregations concert organizers, and thus, according to Section 3 of the Copyright Act, they must have permission for the performances from the composers and lyricists.
