How do we handle whistleblowing cases?
We follow these guidelines for handling whistleblowing cases:
- All matters are taken seriously.
- All cases are thoroughly investigated within a reasonable timeframe and in a fair, impartial and objective manner.
- All matters are handled with a high degree of confidentiality and follow current best practices for information security.
- Any person accused in a whistleblowing case has the right to receive information about the nature and cause of the accusation, as well as the right to be heard (contradiction).
anonymity
If you wish to remain anonymous, you have the option to do so. Your identity will not be revealed.
To ensure adversarial and fair handling of cases, we follow these guidelines:
- The person being notified will be informed of the content of the notification and given the opportunity to comment.
- If necessary to achieve clarity in the facts of the case, simple preliminary investigations may be conducted before the person being notified is informed.
- If the investigations reveal that there is nothing objectionable, the case can be closed without the person who was notified being informed.
How to notify:
Notifications sent via the web form go to TONO's HR department as an anonymous email without a sender address. We have no way of identifying the sender.
It is not necessary to provide evidence for what you consider objectionable, but we encourage you to be as clear as possible when describing what happened.
After you have submitted the report, TONO's HR department and possibly other relevant departments will process the case. The follow-up will depend on the matter being reported. If you provide your name in the report and request feedback, we will inform you about the case's processing when it is completed.
We aim to ensure that whistleblowers are well looked after and that cases are handled in a thorough and fair manner.
