This week a new episode with the band ISÁK was released. Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen says that the corona pandemic, climate change and the BLM movement have fueled the fighting spirit on the trio's second album Roasut.
– There's a lot going on in the world right now. It's a bit overwhelming to be human. That's why I wanted to write an album that describes the times we live in now, but that can also give people a kick in the butt, and a little hope.
Through the podcast, TONO highlights members and their activities, to highlight their important work, the value of music, and TONO's role in the musical cycle.
– Songwriting and composition are hard work, and no two works are created the same way. Conversations with the creators can provide a unique insight into how the music that colors our lives is created, and give us new perspectives. We hope to both inform and inspire through Making Music, says Kristian Dugstad in TONO's communications department.
