In 2014, TONO will award approximately 10 million in scholarships, divided between the TONO scholarship and the Young Talents scholarship. Those who applied have been informed by email whether they have been awarded a scholarship.
/ 20/05/2014 / codex308 applicants have been awarded the TONO scholarship, while 171 were awarded the Young Talents scholarship. The applications have been processed by TONO's scholarship committee, which consists of two members from NOPA, two from NKF, one from Musikkforleggerne and two on vacant positions.
In its work, the scholarship committee has placed emphasis on the design of the applications/project and the applicants' creative activity, as well as earnings in TONO. Read more about criteria and other information about the TONO scholarship here..
This year, a total of 9,7 million kroner was set aside for the TONO scholarship (the main scholarship), before costs and provisions. In addition, 600,000 was allocated by NKF and NOPA to the Unge Talenter scholarship. The committee chose to transfer 600,000 from the main pool to Unge Talenter, so that 8,850,000 was distributed in TONO scholarships and 1,200,000 to Unge Talenter.
